Picture Day/HISD Performance
Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 11:13PM Just a reminder to all you band-o's who have not yet had your picture taken that we are finishing band pics this Wednesday during afternoon rehearsal. Please plan ahead for this and make sure you've got your hair/make-up/whatever else stuff with you. You'll be in your uniform, of course. If you have not been fitted for a uniform, we'll be taking care of that as well.
We are performing for the Hutto ISD administration and faculty (about 600 people) next Monday, Aug. 16th, at 8:15am at the high school PAC (Performing Arts Center). Band students will need to wear their band shirt (tucked in) and blue jeans. If you are an incoming freshman or new member, you will need to wear an orange shirt (HMS folk, last year's band t-shirt will do just fine). We do not have practice that day until 6pm, so you will need to find a ride home after the performance. The performance will take about 30 minutes. Roll call will be at 7:45 a.m. in the HS Band Hall for the morning's performance.

I am including a link to the gallery of student pictures for the high school band. If your son/daughter's picture is not there, that is because it has not been taken as of yet. The rest of the pictures will be taken this coming Wednesday from 1 -5pm. I will be sending out an order form from Worrell Photography for you to order pictures if you choose (You DO NOT have to buy pictures - it is totally optional). You will have a choice of buttons, 8 x 10's, 5 x 7's, magnets, band trader cards, and a couple of more options.
On the website, some pictures are of close ups and some are 3/4 length - Mrs. Worrell picked the best pose for the website. ALL of the pictures will be cropped and look the same. I have copied the link to the website. Please let me know if this does not work properly.
